Time now for another artist which has been a favorite of mine for quite some time. I found these guys back when Mp3.com was going strong. And as you know, finding much of anything on there that was good was quite a chore, so when I first heard these guys, I knew I had found something special. I’ve been following them for awhile and have both of their official releases and just dig them in general. Soooo…. without further ado, I present Mae’s single ‘Suspension’!

Mae, whose name stand for Multisensory Aesthetic Experience, has a sound that is a little lighter than Foo Fighters, but nevertheless, similar. They produce catchy power pop that oozes with great hooks, singable choruses and their lyrics are very strong.

‘Suspension’ exemplifies all of Mae’s strong points. It’s got a chorus that is downright irresistible. You’ll have this one stuck in your head for quite a long time and you just may be about to check out one of your new favorite bands. All of which just goes to show you that even with all of the junk that was on Mp3.com, it still had some real gems to offer up back in it’s heyday.
