‘Into The Summer’ by The Screwdrivers makes me recall the band Dada. They both have the knack for creating acoustic pop songs that just ooze melody yet still sport odd rhythms and instrumental creativity. The harmonies, sealed the deal. Yep, these guys have the goods. Some songs you just know before they even reach the chorus that you are going to like it and this is one of those songs.

This is also one of those rare songs that ends all too quickly. Clocking in at a brief two and a half minutes, when the song closes you immediately think, “Wait, no! Come on… just one more verse”, and that truly is a hard find. But that’s all right. You can always play it again, and believe me, you WILL want to play it again.
