OK, how ’bout a little indie rock for you. ‘Best Time’ from The Monkey Show is a great piece of indie rock that showcases just how to balance the ‘indie’ sound yet still write great songs with hooks and melodies that keep the song stuck in your head. This was really a tough call for me to pick this track. I checked out all of the tracks from their website and pretty much any song on their site could have made the GT cut.

The Monkey Show actually just formed in 2004 and they site as their influences bands such as Foo Fighters and The Dandy Warhols, which I can definitely hear. They have an EP out right now called “Eyes” that you can pick up from CD Baby.

Well, after listening to this track, if you enjoy it, I highly recommend that you head on over to their website and check out the other stuff that they have to offer. I think you’ll be pleased with what you hear.
