‘Yesterday’ by Escape From Earth is the first submission that GT has received from a viewer that has made the cut and is now a featured artist, so congratulations to them on that front. Second, once you hear ‘Yesterday’ you’ll completely understand why. Heavy rock that has some really great harmonies, it has a polished sound and a great hook that really drives this song home. Their sound is reminiscent of Filter except with a better singer and better harmonies. They’ve also garnered some attention from some big names as well. They’ve opened up for the likes of Switchfoot and Disturbed. They’ve also recorded songs with Bob Ezrin, known for work with Pink Floyd, Kiss and Jane’s Addiction, and also with Rae DiLeo who has worked with Filter. They are definitely on their way up. ‘Yesterday’, and Escape From Earth in general, has a distinct sound that sets them apart from the normal Nu-Metal pack. The harmonies are killer and the songs are just great. I’m sure you’ll be hearing more from these guys. Post a comment
