Download Song

‘Fall Apart’ is one of those songs that just kept me on my ‘listening’ toes throughout the whole track. The song opens with a rough, muffled beat that seems as though it is going to be the basis for the whole thing. Uh uh. A moment later the true rhythm and melody of the song kick in with a driving beat that can only be described as ‘head-nodding’ (Yeah. I’m a hip-hop fiend. And what?)

So I’m settling into this beat and WHAM! There’s a small break in the action and the vocals sneak up onto the track over, guess what, a different beat! Don’t get me wrong. The song is well put together and comes across as one continuous stream. The pattern changes in the song only serve to make it that much more interesting to listen to and frankly are a welcome change from some of the more repetitive things that I’ve found myself listening to lately.

Imbrium is a one-man show, not unlike several other acts here on Gigatracks. But it is still amazing to listen to something like this and realize that one individual concieved and executed every single element of this composition. If I could say one thing to Imbrium it would be to turn the vocals up another notch. The lyrics are great and the vocal performance is good but it could be bumped up a bit in intensity in my humble, non-singing opinion. (I’m wack.)

Regardless, you need to go ahead and download this one; It gets a thumbs up from my personal, one-member, chapter of AAA because this is definitely the type of song that you listen to while driving at high speed or when you are stuck in traffic and you need to feel as if you were driving at high speed!
