OK, I’m as giddy as a little schoolgirl… so forgive me for my excitement here. However, it’s a really rare thing to come across a track as good as the one that you’re about to indulge in. Now add to that the fact that this is a ‘Creative Commons’ release and you can see the source of my excitement. Not only does this wonderful band know how to write a killer track, they want you all to share it with the world! Rock on guys!!!

So anyway, let’s discuss the track, called ‘This Time’, a wee bit, shall we? It’s a pop-rock track and I must say that it really doesn’t get any better than this one. It’s a perfect three and a half minute pop song that oozes melody. They would fit well right in between The Fray and Snow Patrol, only… they make those other bands sound bad by comparison. Hey radio guys! Are you listening?!? Throw The Crash Moderns into your heavy rotation and show ‘em some playlist love.

They’re an NYC band, so if you live in the big apple, go out and catch them live. They’re also working on a new record, so keep your ears open. If these guys don’t break big, there truly is no justice in this world. We hope they keep churning tracks out like this one and that they keep letting us all share them amongst ourselves. But for now, enjoy this rare treat. They don’t come along too often like this.
