Close your eyes and picture yourself laying in an open grassy field on a beautiful spring day. The skies is jewel-tone blue and filled with fluffy white clouds. Now hit play and take in Craig Lyons’ “Improvise”. It’s practically a soundtrack for beautiful spring days. Craig actually plays all of the instruments on this track as well. And with the hugeness of the sound, you’d never know. The jangly guitar line provides the basis for the song and the plodding rhythm sets the tone. The piano layered on top fills it out just right. His vocals top it all off to bring the song home. When his vocals soar for the chorus you can’t help but be pulled in. So if you’re planning a picnic or a chance to spend some time outdoors enjoying the changing of the seasons, we’ve just provided you with the first track for your mixtape. Post a comment
